Years ago, when I lived on the island, the first lamb of spring was always one belonging to Craig Kingsbury, a very peculiar (and fascinating) Vineyard personality. The Gazette would always say something like: "First lamb at Kingsbury's - winter will soon be over." So, I'm glad to see that while Craig is gone, there are new lambs on the island to herald spring.
