There’s something about the play of light and dark that catches my eye. I love black & white photography, angles and shadows and the way the sun reflects on objects.

Joanie: As usual, all your photographs are so perfectly artistic - I always wonder what you will show us next. However, I must comment on the one you labelled “Vineyard Haven.” That, my friend, is absolutely prize-winning quality. Please enter it in some kind of contest. I can easily picture it on a post card. Using the columns as shadows is wonderful and it gives the “you are right there,” 3-D effect perfectly. WOW. You continue to amaze me.
